Casper Gloor, master baker from Switzerland, brought his secret recipe over from Switzerland, settling in Tell City, Indiana. The pretzels were purely hand-crafted for the first 160 years. The company modernized the pretzel-making process while honoring the artisan tradition that makes the Tell City Pretzel a truly hand-crafted experience!
The Tell City Pretzels twisting machine is from Frankfurt, Germany. Maintaining the European Tradition, Pretzel Baker Brad went to Frankfurt to see the twisting machines in European bakeries, sourcing a machine that could replicate the artisan look of the hand crafted pretzels.
